HiQ acquires Headlight Group

HiQ acquires Headlight Group

As a part of its aim for the position as the Northern European leading tech consultant company HiQ has now acquired the IT specialist Headlight Group with the two companies Headlight and Relight. The companies are based in Västerås, Örebro and Borlänge and the close to 100-person team will be a strong addition to HiQ’s offer of services within Busines Crititcal IT.

”I am exceptionally glad to welcome everybody in Headlight and Relight to HiQ. Together we have an amazing competence, strong company cultures and an impressive client list. This is a perfect match, and by combining our two teams we will strengthen our position as the leading consultancy in Sweden when it comes to digitalization, innovation, IT and system development. Super fun and yey us”, says Sven Ivar Mørch, CEO and President at HiQ.

Headlight AB was founded in 2001 and is an IT consultancy. Through rapid growth, the company has established itself as an IT-partner to both successful private companies and public institutions. Within its three main areas of competence; organizational development, leadership and system development, Headlight offers a full stack concept for digitalization by assisting its clients all the way from strategy to development and SLA management.

”By focusing on improvement, change and simplicity we strive to make our clients succeed in a digital world. We’re good at what we do, we like to think innovatively and always focus on the client’s needs, goals and real situation. HiQ truly share our believes, and I’m really looking forward to joining forces. Our value driven company culture is a perfect match with HiQ’s own values, and together we will form an incredibly strong team, says Per-Olof Rosén, CEO Headlight.

Headlight will join HiQ Sweden East with offices in Stockholm, Linköping, Norrköping, Västerås and Örebro – and, in line with the acquisition, also in Borlänge.

Headlight Group also encapsulates the independent company Relight, which with low code solutions and with the help of the platforms K2, UiPath and Outsystems works on creating platforms for modern application development and digitalization of organizations. Relight’s operation has clear synergies with HiQ’s offering in system integration and process automation – as well as the integration platform Frends. Frends currently has over 500 clients with representation in basically all segments, from municipalities to business-critical systems within the industry.

”This is a major step in the development of Relight. Our position in application development and platform solutions is a perfect addition to the iPaaS platform Frends as well as to HiQ’s vast knowledge of API development. Frends is a modern and flexible integration platform that fits straight into our portfolio of products for building stable and smooth applications. We will be incredibly strong together”, says Marit Wester, CEO of Relight.

”Headlight and Relight’s strong competence will be a very important piece of HiQ’s development in Sweden. We are a strong partner to all companies need to digitalize and the employer-of-choice for anyone who wishes to work with leading edge technology, IT, integration, design and communication. Now we strengthen this position even further”, says Sven Ivar Mørch, CEO and President, HiQ.
